The 10-day Great Online Homes Festival (GOHF), organised jointly by Magicbricks, Google and GroupM, has generated bookings worth ` . 300 crore. The fair has seen more than 50 lakh visitors spending over 10 million minutes, Magicbricks said.
GOHF had showcased properties ranging from ` .2 . 15 lakh to ` crore with offers that were not available offline. While there were queries across all price ranges, bookings were primarily seen for properties worth . 40 lakh to ` ` . 80 lakh.

We are overwhelmed by the record-breaking response from customers, which signals a paradigm shift in the customer psyche so far as the decision of online property purchase is concerned,“ Sudhir Pai, chief executive of Magicbricks, said in a news release. “Hopefully , the momentum generated by GOHF will impart the much-needed impetus for improved sales in the real estate sector in the days ahead.“
Emerging markets like Kolkata and Hyderabad were a surprise given the consumer enthusiasm for real estate deals, Magic bricks said. The response from these markets was at par with cities like Mum bai, Bengaluru and Pune.
